Zarina Rouge is a Belgian designer and the creative force behind her eponymous handbag brand. From a young age, Zarina was fascinated by fashion; she made small outfits for her Barbies (cute!) and quickly discovered her love for sewing and jewelry making. Although she initially studied translation in Ghent, she ultimately followed her passion for fashion when she returned to her hometown of Koksijde. There, she took courses in sewing and leathercraft, which laid the foundation for her own label.

Zarina designs sustainable, high-quality handbags for the modern, creative woman. Her goal is to enrich the wardrobe with bags that are both playful and practical, radiating elegance and simplicity. This extends the lifespan of the products, making them cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
Sustainability is at the core of Zarina's work, from material choice to waste reduction. She works with LWG-certified tanneries and produces in small quantities to minimize waste. Her leather is a byproduct of the meat industry, which helps reduce her ecological footprint. The production takes place in Italy, where craftsmanship and ethics are paramount.
